Beyonce may be the queen now, but Aaliyah came out first before Mya, Brandy, Monica,Ashanti,Beyonce,Cassie, Ciara ect. All these R&B singers today are influenced by her. like Ciara and if Utada someone not even in states is influenced by Aaliyah than that shows that how much of an impact she has made in her short life.
