Yeah, I know that's what everyone THINKS they're saying, but I'm pretty sure they're not. I cannot hear anything but the word "chips" where you all think "chance" should be. Plus "chips" would rhyme a lot better with "rich" than "chance" would. I also think it would be extremely strange to reference breakup rumours in a song like that.

I guess we'll have to wait until the album comes out to know for sure since the lyrics will likely be in the booklet.

I get where you're coming from too, the whole chorus rhymes but that bit. Maybe they say it odd so it does? I hear chance, but maybe because I just want to. It just makes more sense because why would they randomly boast about breaking up? And actually, addressing the rumors like that makes a lot of sense, if you ask me. I guess we will have to wait.
