Not surprise at the USA. Just because you hear some racist news that the media, SWJs and Tumblr likes to blow up a lot doesn't meant that most races in the USA does not get along. And I say this as a Minority. The majority here are open minded and tolerant of others.
Not to single out the US (as I don't believe it's an extremely racist country), but definitely over 5% of the country is racist considering Trump's support.
There are different forms of racism. Some countries display more overt forms, which would be the ones in red, I assume. But believe me, lots if not all of those blue countries have issues too
