It would also protect such groups if they chose not to employ someone whose religious beliefs conflict with the organization's.

I do honestly believe that if a pastor is legitimately uncomfortable with it, he shouldn't be forced to do it. No matter how bigoted that is, we shouldn't force our will on him just like how they shouldn't force their will on us. I believe it should be his responsibility to find someone else who will do it though. A bigoted pastor should not be the reason a gay couple can't get married.
