While the original "Urbz" game unperformed back in 2004, many say it was because it went on sale just after The Sims 2. Due to the lack of success, the idea of a sequel was cancelled.
However, in past years The Urbz has generated a cult following and fans have created multiple petitions over the last decade.
The original Urbz was based around the idea that you create a Sim who tries join different clubs around the city.
The Sims 4: Get Together Expansion was considered a "Sandbox Urbz" from Fans, as it did contain different clubs that your Sims would have to join, except you could also create your own, including deciding the Hangout for the club (or building your own) and what the clubs do or don't do.
This may have been a trial from EA to see if that kind of gameplay.
A new image has leaked onto the internet recently, showing a new CAS screen very similar to the Urbz, with better graphics and more options from the original. Originally posted by a concept artist from The Sims 4, the post was later removed.
Is this a sign of The Urbz 2?
