To be fair, everyone and their mama (literally) already owns Blurred Lines.

More people actually own Thrift Shop than Blurred Lines, although admittedly TS is pretty low in the Top 1500. As for Wrecking Ball, WHY??? WB wasn't the worst #1 of 2013, as that title clearly goes to Harlem Shake.

However, WB and this entire era for Cyrus will hurt her in the long run. WB was one of the worst #1s of 2013, and since Thrift Shop and Royals are the only #1s from the year I actually like, that's means WB was pretty awful.
