Sis Apple keep it simple. Most androids look like those fan made prototypes.
For example; It took Samsung SIX iterations to make a good looking phone, and even then the sales aren't coming in because the design is aimed towards tech droolers rather than people wanting premium materials.

Samsung still use that cheap plastic instead of aluminum and people aren't here for it.

and apparently that's the best the world outside iPhone's can deliver.
People see fingerprints all over your device and it looks annoying and cheap no matter what else about the phone is premium.

At least Sony use oil free materials but the phones look meh.
