I had a dream about Bey, she was performing at the Superbowl and she was having audio issues but she really wanted a specific part of the performance focused on. So after she finished a choreo bit her dancers rushed around and put this new outfit on her (it looked like the outfit she had on with the red lace before Blow at MIA) and then she brought out a glass tank like the ones used in magic tricks
I think it's a sign tbh, after she did the boxes for CIL I bet she's moving towards magic themed performances
I thought I was doing fine with the whole Beyhydration thing until I realized today how many new Beyonce playlists I've made over the past few days/weeks.
I'm currently reordering the B'Day Deluxe Edition (with Creole included) but I'm sort of stuck now . Anybody got the perfect B'Day tracklist for me to steal.
I love that Beyoncé has this feeling of exclusiveness and independence around her and her art.
Expensive tickets, exclusive albums, videos and endorsements, the list goes on.
But this image of being exclusive, of being someone who is worth the money is only profitable if you're still accessible for the general public.
For example the release of "BEYONCÉ" was perfect. It was exclusively available on iTunes, but since so many people use iTunes, it was still able to break sales records.
But her recent actions, blacklisting the "Formation" video and not releasing the song to iTunes, Amazon etc., made her too exclusive in my opinion. The GP wants to consume Beyoncé music, but with every day she's making it harder for them to even find her official songs/videos.
So I desperately hope that she doesn't release the album to Tidal only for the first few weeks, she'd waste a huge potential!
This album, especially if it has a political message, needs to be heard by millions. Releasing it to Tidal is not the way to achieve this.
I hope y'all can understand what I wrote here, because it's even confusing for me.
Tidal is dead, it's over, it's been over. Exclusives aren't working they don't attract long term subscribers, this has been established. Jay might sell it to Samsung anyway. So what would be the damn point?
The ONLY situation I would tolerate was if the FILM was Tidal exclusive for like two days, album not available anywhere, then it goes to stores and itunes at the same time.
Tidal would get exposure or whatever, but hopefully the music will be integrated enough into the film that it won't be ripable to make an album, therefore not effecting sales, or streams.
I think A Woman Like Me and Cater 2 U (BET) were the peak moments of her beauty. I also think 2008 is when she stopped looking like a young girl and started looking more like a woman, idk if it has something to do with her makeup but there's a change.
