I'd say in order to be able to even be a millennial you need to at least have memories prior to 2002. If you remember 9/11 you're probably a millennial. I don't remember 9/11 but I have memories from the summer of 2000 on, plus my brother and sister are 6 years older which definitely makes them millennials, and they would obviously have a bigger influence on me. Also, while I did grow up with computers and the Internet, I have been using computers for as long as I can remember, and I used Windows 98. Also I remember dial-up. I think we used AOL for a bit, I think until we moved but we could have gotten Comcast at some point. So I'd say even though I'm on the borderline going by age, I'm still solidly a millennial.

If you were born in 2000 or later you're definitely not a millennial.

Nah but I bet in 20 years these statistics will be kinda similar. I'd love to see Gen X'ers compared to Baby Boomers and the generation before them.

Obviously but as they get older, the more need the job field is searching for eligible candidates for those same tech jobs. Majority of the incoming workforce will comprise entirely of the milliennials.

This is what happens when people are hired due to their education instead of real experience and real knowledge that isn't mostly theorical, past generations are also much more independent

When I'm 30, I ain't working a 9-5 job. I will be running my own billion dollar IT corporation, and that's all thanks to capitalism, and my burning drive to follow my dreams. I am sorry I am not like Generation X who conforms to their old society mentality of a stable 9-5 job, working for 50 years behind a desk, taking 10 years to climb up the ladder, if ever. I mean... the opportunities are everywhere in today's world. Why would I limit myself to a 9-5 job? Sorry Generation X. I have more ambitions than you. Blame me for being entitled to these opportunities.

Possibly stupid question, but when did we stop being referred to as Gen Y?

Our generation sucks because they have no faith in themselves. Most of us hate our country and generation. **** Gen X + the baby boomers, all they do is talk ****. They ruined our economy and can't see the good in Millenials, only focusing on the bad, always making an effort to express how we're turning the world to *****. They say we're self obsessed and don't take accountability, but the fact that they will scapegoat literally everything in attempt to feel above others is the epitome of selfish, inconsiderate, and not taking accountability.

We are so much better than the older generations in so many ways, but the constant disrespect from the older generations is sadly bringing us down. Stop listening to them!!!!

I definitely see some of my young colleagues as self-obsessed

But i actually find us the millenials muuuuch more productive than my older colleagues at least from the company I work for.
