Y'all are right about Meghan though: there isn't much star power in the latest crop of pop stars. Say what you will about Britney, Gaga, Bey, hell even Xtina, but they all had that IT factor. When you saw them, they just looked like superstars and demonstrated such when they were onstage and doing interviews.

Lately it just seems like any loser who's "relatable" enough to the 15-23 age demographic who spends 10 hours a day retweeting Common White Girl gifs/memes will find success. The only latest pop star who really does have a bit of that is Ariana, but it seems like she's confused as to what she wants to do.
