Why is the suicide rate higher for men?
Kind of interesting. That gap is really significant.

More pressure, I would say. If you look at those countries, they're mostly places where a lot of women still don't have to work and have less to worry about.

Something about men killing themselves more with more violent methods like shooting themselves or something, whereas women who kill themselves tend to try to take drugs or something more peaceful and likely to survive or someshit

I think that some men are less likely to open up about their problems or emotions. They are also less likely to look for help from family and doctors, as seeking help would be considered weak or "unmanly" in some places. It's a real shame tbh.

There's gays and then there's straights who can't find love because there's barely any women and they get so depressed

"Are men taking responsibility to help themselves express their depression? Hardly. Men are still most likely to buy adventure books, financial journals, and sports magazines that teach men to solve problems, overcome barriers or repress feelings. There are few men's shelters, 'masculist' psychologists, men's crisis lines, or men's shelters.
"People who suffer but cannot express it are suffering more deeply. They need more help, not less."

Misleading.
Women are more likely to attempt suicide, whereas men are more likely to succeed at killing themselves.

Men generally use methods that are more effective to kill themselves. Methods that will likely kill them instantly(hanging, shooting, jumping off somewhere).
Women generally choose less drastic measures and a lot end up surviving their suicide attempt, or gett help immediately because they changed their mind.

Statistically men take more risk and are more likely to commit aggressive and/or violent acts meaning not only are men more likely to attempt suicide but use a method that has a high sucess rate: gun shot wound, car crash, hanging, etc.

I don't think we can measure pressure.
Actually. accoriding to studies woman tends to be more depressed. It just two ways how the two genders "handle" emotional problems. Women tend to emotional therefore more likely to be depressed. For a men to be emotional is in conlfict with the traditional gender roles, so instead they just commit suicide.

So basically women cry wolf lol
If you fail at killing yourself it's because you were wavering between a yes or a no. When killing yourself, you only have one job and that's dying. If you can't pull it off, it's not because you're clumsy, it's because you're undecided.

Men are not programmed to be open about their struggles, not just in society, but studies have shown Men struggle to admit when something is wrong and feel guilty for revealing personal struggle. It's been this way for as long as history has recorded male behavior.
This isn't to say Men are more depressed than women, but Men are less likely to reach out, where as Women often vent their problems more. A lot of women attempt suicide, but fail because people are aware of the situation. And due to this, Women are more aware of help and support and cannot go through with it.
With men, a lot of people are not aware, and Men often don't allow it to be known.

I've heard some argue that it's generally a product of cultural conditioning, rather than nature. Feminists and men's issues activists call it "toxic masculinity."

Men are not "allowed" to be emotional or get help their problems because they would be viewed as weak. So therefore men are less likely to seek help or have people notice when they are struggling. Men also take more effective, violent measures when attempting suicide while women take measures that can easily be stopped... like taking pills vs men shooting themselves.
I would also say that in most countries men are the one's who are pressured to provide for their families and in some countries women aren't even allowed to work or go to school or leave the house. Both come with their downsides in that women are seen as inferior and men have to take on all the stress and responsibility.
That's why its also important that feminism tackles "toxic masculinity". Men still have these rigid gender roles while gender roles have loosened for women.
