How is it sexism? Men and women's bodies aren't the same. No feminism or crying on the internet can change that.

It's not more difficult for women to be professional athletes because of "hormones". That just stupid

Yeah but because of how bodies are different, men are better - and people are only interested in seeing the best athletes play.
Serena couldn't even beat the 203rd best male player.
Men's tennis generates more money than women's tennis, so naturally the men would earn more money. Exactly the same reason why female models are paid more than male models.
Women can't do everything a man can & men cannot do everything a woman can... it's not a necessarily a bad thing, but you cannot disregard facts, learn to love and accept it .

Well he has a point ,the pay should be relative to how much spectators they bring and in general its not more than males ,those are just facts

I'm pretty sure Serena Williams tried to challenge this logic, yet she couldn't even win the #201 best male test player.
I'm a woman, but I can acknowledge that men are better at some things than women, but I'm not whining about it or using it as an excuse.

Okay, but are the women playing against the men? Women's and men's tennis are different leagues, so I don't know why anyone is saying that women or men are better sportspeople, they're not playing against each other at all.
During the regular season, both women and men play best of 3, but it's only during slams that they play best of 5. Absolutely women and men should be paid equally for best of three tournaments, but the ultimate debate should be about slams in which men play best of 5, which is definitely more time consuming and strenuous as a whole compared to the women's matches. It's ultimately up to the directors of the slams to make that call, and they chose to give equal pay.

Physical strength isn't the only attractive quality about tennis.

I think he has a point, but Novak isn't particularly the best at wording things out.
This is very difficult. Because sports are not just about what you do, they are also about how much demand there is for the event. If we consider the effort, then they should get paid the same in all tournaments that they both play best of 3 sets, they train more or less around the same hours and they play for a similar amoun of time. However, most of the Men's tennis matches will be more watched, that's just the way it is.
In any case, this doesn't affect players like Novak, Roger or Rafa at all. The prize money earnings are just a part of what they earn. Most of their earnings come from endorsements and such. The ones talking about this should be lower ranked players which earnings are affected by this equal pay, because they are the ones who do struggle.

Novak's comments about viewership of ATP vs. WTA is kinda irrelevant. Money would be made via advertising based on the number of spectators. Regardless of whether it's Carla Suarez Navarro smacking a scrub in the quarters, or a Serena vs. Azarenka quarterfinal match-up, all participants would receive the same prize money regardless of how many people watched. Not how it works, Nole.
Novak is unpopular (generally). Say, for instance, Roger and Rafa were playing on Court 1, and Murray and Novak on Court 2. Given the choice, most tennis stans would be sprinting to Court 1. Does that mean Novak should be paid less? Or is that only relevant when the players are female?
The CEO of Indian Wells resigned because of his crass comments, he was wrong, too.
