It also doesn't help the fact that Gaga stans are some of the most vicious, cockiest stans ever, they hype every single release of her and hold her to such a high standard all while dragging other artist to build Gaga up. The bloodbath was completely expected

And Gaga got dragged because of her embarassing, excessively cocky behavior that ultimately backfired. If only the music wasn't crap maybe things would have been different but she oversold and overrated an album that was actually mediocre. The Katy (and to a lesser extent Miley and Bey) comparisons didn't help either

It's all about perception. Gaga was perceived as a flop and her Twitter meltdowns, or meltdowns in general, didn't help. She did not go out in style. Why was Gaga perceived as a flop? Probably because people were waiting for the perfect time to drag her down and she gave them the perfect ammunition.

Rihanna was dragged. But the reason people dragged Gaga more is because the Monsters were extremely overconfident before Artpop happened and they kinda had it coming. Also to go from as huge as she was before to Artpop was quite a dramatic fall

Feel like the same thing is gonna happen with LG5 to be honest
