Honestly though, Rihanna's career has been based on peak positions and not actual sales. Many of her #1's are only 2-3x platinum which is pretty sad actually for the supposed top digital artist. She's only that because she spammed released her albums while every other pop girl waited like 2-3 years between albums.
I use her music though, and don't her. But her fanbase is pathetic. What happened to not caring? What happened to ANTI being about the music and not the sales/positions? So now that ANTI is #1 solely based on streaming of Work, positions matter again? But continue to be happy that no one actually wants to buy her ****** album. 17k sales has them so happy. My God

Her fanbase has been happy with her & cared about the music since the beginning when folks like you were probably giggling at the "460" spam the day the figures came out & when the early mixed reviews came in. What's pathetic about celebrating her album going #1 again? Blame that on today's age of streaming. I could say the same thing about Katy fans being so happy about the nominations & yet no award still. Generalization isn't the business, so sorry you're bothered.
