They make you fill out a questionnaire asking you if you will be unbiased and a bunch of other questions, give all the answers they wouldn't want from a jury member and they surely won't pick you.
I don't 100% know how jury duty works in the US but, can't you just pretend you're biased?
Like try and gauge the jury member the person questioning you wants and then act the opposite so you won't get chosen?
