- Many have known that I am a HUGE Rihanna fan and maybe was expecting this album to go straight to #1, however, she has been overtaken by a very very innovative artist this year. Rated R is just as what Justin Timberlake said that it's "mature" album for Rihanna. This album is full of songs that portrays Rihanna's life experiences and personality. This album is full of ballads ranging from breaking up to enduring torture in a relationship. The tracks are full of meaning most notably is her first single "Russian Roulette"; RR tries to portray a woman stuck in an abusive relationship and we all know who's this addressed to. What's more is that Rihanna co-wrote the songs in this album too and that's a great achievement for her.

"The Fame Monster"
- After landing at the #04 spot last year, Lady GaGa zooms fast to the top spot of my 2009 favorite albums. Year 2009 is indeed a HUGE year for Lady GaGa. Just imagine how one album can spring out four #1 songs. I am glad that I wasn't one of those who knew Lady GaGa only after her 1st single Just Dance reached number one this year. I already became acclaimed with this music artist since last year's Ms Universe with her performance of Just Dance (thanks again to Billiejoe). This album is excellent for those who love dance, electro pop or any upbeat music. All of her singles released in this album are all PERFECT!! People were really thinking that she may not make another masterpiece without RedOne to help her but look at Bad Romance, it's gotten bigger and better than most tracks of the album. This woman is indeed a great music artist and my expectations for her in 2010 has just gotten bigger.
