No...I didn't do any of that actually. That's disgusting and people always take stanning too far unfortunately. I both like and respect Beyonce & don't usually get involved in petty stan wars such as this one because it's not really worth arguing about. & clearly you didn't see that I said SOME Beyonce stans are too much not all. & there is no denying that some Rihanna stans are over the top as well.

The quote from Complex was wrong tho, it actually went like this:
Quote:
“There is room on this earth for many queens. I have an authentic, God-given talent, drive, and longevity that will always separate me from everyone else. I’ve been fortunate to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing. I have no desire for anyone else’s throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I’ve been building for the past 15 years.”
|
I don't see a problem in that. Bey is very confident and always emphasizes she trusts 100% in her abilities.

and that is exactly the truth. They are both messy at the end of the day because the fictive rivalry between the two is entertaining, just like Brit vs Xtina had been for ages.

YOU KNOW it must keep the Hive up late at night plucking the edges out of their lacefronts that a bitch like Rihanna who is a good singer at best, and a decent dancer at most, has managed to stay just as relevant as someone as indisputably talented as Beyonce. It's such a shame that you all are so consistently and annoyingly pressed and hateful toward everything she does. When your little hands go up in prayer at night to your "lord and savior" Beyonce, you happen to wake up every morning to Rihanna remaining relevant and a factor. A new cover here, a new record there. Oh how it must hurt that a little coconut girl from de islands, growing up poor without handouts, struggling through Hero, has managed to soar above your expectations.
The stress must make y'all paler than Beyonce's hair. The Hive needs to stop acting like they don't annoy one another. There are horror stories, Made in America the most recent, of stans being extremely aggressive and beligerent in the hopes that Beyonce will one day acknowledge you like she acknowledges the press on her personal life. Y'all can't even stand one another. And then you all wonder why casual Beyonce fans like myself want nothing to do with the Hive.

Isn't that basically what I said? I said she called them Queens [which she did] and that she didn't care about a rivalry [which she doesn't] because she's only doing her [which is the truth] and focusing on her career and her throne that she's been building for herself?
The person only quoted the first part of the article and it made it seem like she said "I am talented and Rihanna isn't LMAO"
but when you read the whole thing, you see that she wasn't speaking about anyone in particular but just in general. Why you coming at me, hun? You don't see me in here defending QUEEN too? I never said there was a problem w/ her confidence but I do have a problem w/ the person making Bey seem like some sort of uppity bitch

agreed. but the navy is definitely trying to downplay the amount of shade they've thrown towards Bey during the "4" and also during the "BEYONCÉ" era. I love Rihanna and most of the navy but this whole "the hive does this...the hive does that" talk is really getting on my nerves. We know damn well this stupid rivalry is two-sided and that the navy doesn't play a smaller part in this than the hive.
And i'm pretty sure that the navy would have reacted the same way if Bey was the one liking something that meant to shade Rih. (i don't think that she liked it intentionally but still)

See. the same talk over and over again.
at this point i believe even if Bey got publicly slapped by another pop girl, other stan bases would even react that way if the hive was "fuming". This talk is SO stale.
Why do people act like any other stan base wouldn't be defending their fave if they were in the same position?
