4.) It only managed to chart, despite Beyoncé's best efforts after receiving some airplay on Urban radio, where it sits currently #5, even though she didn't send it to a single radio station.
I'm cackling down at this because a part of me really thinks she's fuming over it.
I'm not saying people don't buy her music .. I'm saying she might be a bit meh about declining even though she won't she probably just doesn't want to so she creates marketing gimmics?
If people are gonna buy her music, then they will. Funny how you call the surprise release a gimmick & yet many artists followed suit, she changed album release dates... this is groundbreaking... you seem bitter.
maybe because they were released in the steaming era?
That's the whole point! If no one is streaming her new music, according to posters in here, why is her new music the most streamed out of her entire catalog of music?
Hive members thinking Bey would be 'fuming' that her single charted on a radio chart
She probably wasn't fuming, but if she wanted on the radio she would've SENT IT to radio, have you heard of radio and how it works, maybe you're new to this.

what other pop girl surprise released? I'm not bitter I'm just saying she does use a lot of marketing techniques within releasing .. nothing is wrong with that? She just has a clever team.. I'm saying though there is a possibility it could be more deeper than that

It's not there was a message behind rolling everything out at once, which was to make people experience music for themselves and not be influenced by critics. Which is also why buying individual tracks was prohibited for a few weeks.
I had a feeling, that when I logged on today, there would another thread (for the third day in a row) about the "forgotten flop," Formation. I was expecting it to be another Navy member (though one seems to be bothered anyway), and I can't say that I'm surprised it's you, seeing as Christina stans love to question what's going on with other's careers. Ask Beyoncé; otherwise, you're just going to get a bunch of responses of what people think is the right answer.
