Just announce Hillary as the candidate and have her choose Bernie as her VP already. Most voters said they'd be fine with either candidate so just have them join forces and start getting the GE message ready. Both sides need to suck it up and accept that both can't win without the support of the other.

MTE. Contested primaries have always been like this, but at some point, things do get better and the party unifies. Hillary took it to June in 2008 because she was always within striking distance and then conceded at the convention. I don't mind Bernie doing the same. The nomination is out of reach, but his campaigning to motivate and inspire people is a good thing and he can use that to put pressure on the Republicans and Trump.
Honestly, I just don't see the VP thing happening. You want your President and Vice-President to have a great functioning relationship, where you throw off ideas from one another and ultimately having the other back. I think Hillary can have that in a Sherrod Brown (Popular Ohio Senator), a Tim Kaine (Virginia Senator), Cory Booker (NJ Senator), Julian Castro (Obama Cabinet Member), and recently a name gaining traction....Tom Perez (Obama Cabinet member). Diverse pool who have great chances and sweet upsides in swing states. There is still plenty of time to unite the party.
