I disagree, natural selection is and will always play a part in the future of our planet. Earth's climate is very important and will continue to be despite our efforts. Melanin has already been tied to higher fertility as studies have shown and it is also more advantageous when it comes to earth's rapidly changing climate. The "browning" of earth as its being reported is very much part of "natural selection", in 500 years the average person will be brown, and will have more melanin than the average person does today.

BTW I'm not implying that the white race will go extinct but there is still an evolutionary selection for certain traits.
