My old friends that I stopped talking to last summer did. My "best friend" () from high school was such a ****ing little bitch. I had a crush on him which is pathetic but anyway, around Christmas 2013 he was spamming me with pictures of half naked women and asking if I thought they were hot too. I just said "meh no" or something and he wouldn't stop asking me why. Eventually I caved and told him I'm gay, and fast forward a couple months and he's told everyone and their god-damn mothers. "ooo I promise I won't tell anyone!!" His excuse when first found out he told someone was "Well he's my best friend I had to tell him!". From then on to last summer the gay jokes wouldn't stop. Everything from AIDS, comparisons to paedophiles/zoophiles, to extremely graphic and intrusive questions about my sex life. So ****ed up.

That group was so ****ing toxic. Always ripping on everyone and everything they saw, and not even in a jokey way. I can't believe I was friends with them for over 8 years. Anyway, I'll stop ranting now.

Men generally like to make sexual jokes, whether it's about being gay or not. I hear jokes like these (although a little less far-fetched) all the time, but not more often than "that's what she said", for example. It's really got nothing to do with making fun of anything.

I don't think it's necessarily because he knows you're gay and making fun of it. He could just be comfortable around you and not be aware that he's annoying you.
