After the 2008 General Election they really started to aggressively push for these new Voting laws and disguised it as a fight against voter fraud. The know good and well these laws significantly impact people of color, the elderly, and the young voters. After '08 when North Carolina and Virginia went blue, they got SHOOK and have schemed to tilt the scale back to their side. It's disgusting. I'm all for preventing voter fraud, but if you're going to slant the odds against a certain demo, you owe it to them to provide the necessary means to exercise their constitutional rights as citizens. Heck Texas Republicans weren't happy about getting below 60% win, so they went to work to suppress the votes as well.
