hey kids.
my best friend and i will be taking a vacation to europe (england mostly) next spring, around may.
i was wondering if anybody had any advice on cheapest airlines to fly, places to see, things to do.
while of course i'm interested in seeing the larger touristy attractions, i just wanted to reach out
and see if maybe people who are local there had any suggestions on hidden gems such as
restaurants or other cool things to do.
thx bbies.

First and foremost if you stay in England, then no need to use airlines. It's pretty small. If you do want to go elsewhere in Europe, use Ryanair, Easyjet or maybe Wizzair.

Omg I just wanted to post something like his but didn't know if it needed wait for Blogs to never come back
How many countries do you think is a good choice to visit for about 14 days including the traveling? It's so hard to plan a trip to Europe
For real though...how much USD will I need for 14 days in Europe???

Money wise, not including travel, i'd want at least £500 for 14 days, idk how much that is in USD.
Also, London is THE highlight of Europe, no need to go anywhere else. Of course you have the regular tourist attractions like Big Ben, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament, but you also have great nightlife in Picadilly Circus/Leicester Square, a gay area in Soho, a cultural hotspot in Camden, an amazing market at Portobello Road, there's a lot to do.

I have no idea how much money you should bring, the more the better but Europe is more expensive then the US that's for sure.
How many countries? Depends... I would say 3 bigger ones. 5 days in the UK, 5 days France and 5 days in Spain for instance.

I think if you want to fly directly to big destinations, Germanwings or Eurowings is quite attractive to fly with.
Also, bus travels are also not that expensive. You don't even have to book in advance. You shouldn't miss out the Adria. A trip to Croatia, a day visit to BiH and then down to Montenegro is probably something out of the ordinary, but worth it.
Berlin shouldn't be missed out. It is always an exciting visit.

It's a highlight yes but it does not sum up Europe at all, so if they have the time, they should go elsewhere. Two weeks is enough to visit several countries. Although a thorough visit of London is at least 4 days imo.

Is the Eurorail handy? I think that's what it's called...like goes to all different countries?

The Eurostar can take you from London to Paris in 2 and a half hours, that is very handy indeed.

Do you mean interrail? I haven't used it personally but traveling by train through Europe is great, I actually prefer it over flying

- Buy an Oyster card (it's much cheaper to travel than buying tickets)
If you're planning to visit a number of attractions, be aware that a Merlin Pass is cheaper - The London Eye
- The London Dungeons
- Madame Tussauds
- London Sealife Aquarium
- Chessington World of Adventures
- Thorpe Park (in Staines)
Museums are free- Natural History Museum
- Science Museum
- Museum of London
- National Gallery
- National Maritime Museum (in Greenwich, I'd suggest a river boat along the Thames)
If the Union Jack is flying at Buckingham Palace, it means The Queen isn't present.
Everything else is pretty much well known. There's a lot to do in London. Hire a bike!

Europe, the best continent.
Go to the UK, and spend four-five days there. Maybe factor in a couple more countries too, depending on your timings. My favourite cities in Europe are London, Milan, Berlin, Istanbul, Budapest and Amsterdam. Would recommend all of them highly!
Train travel around Europe is good (done Interrail, so much fun) and flying is cheap.
And come to Argentina next time.

Adapters, not just one! The UK and continental plugs and sockets vary too!
The cheapest airlines to fly with are probably RyanAir and WizzAir. Mind the fact that you might have to pay extra for bigger luggage. Don't travel by air while seeing one country, it's better to use rail instead.
And Europe is more expensive than the US. Especially the UK and all the Scandinavian countries.

Everyone who does Europe does it by train. They are fast and reliable all over Europe. And the UK especially is not big enough to justify flying everywhere. You can buy a pass here: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-passes/global-pass
That includes everywhere other than UK. There are separate UK passes https://www.visitbritainshop.com/wor...s/#filter-area
Definitely cheapest just to stay in youth hostels. They all vary, so its best to do your research. But some people aren't fussy and are happy to go anywhere.

Is there any site/blog, like a guide for these kind of trips? I'm organizing one too. I'm from Cyprus (not far away) and i want to experience a european adventure. Changing hotels, cities, countries, road trips, trains etc
