Finally took the time and finished Pokkens Single Player campaign Ferrum League. Playable Pokemon count is at 16.
Considering the current criticism about full priced Fighting Games with a light amount of content, especially Single Player, here's a summary of what Pokken offers:
First off, what you see the map is what you get. There are 4 more locations, but those are for single story matches
Some assets like stages are recycled from previous Tekken entries.
Ferrum League also the "arcade/story" mode of Pokken.
Content wise this game pales compared to Tekken, Soul Calibur, BlazBlue or Guilty Gear.
Oh well with the game already doing poorly in Arcades and not getting its budget back + being exclusive to Wii U, looks like another underperformance incoming for Namco/Tekken devs!
I mean like everything from that franchise it was half assed and rushed.
The current generation of fighting games offer a lot of content to consumers, poor it.
6 characters will be added to SFV this year, as well as several modes including an extensive cynematic story mode for free. Whereas Pokken will continue being bareboness and messy So messy

To be fair, I've seen the stage they're talking about and they didn't recycle the assets just the design. And I doubt it was out of laziness because if they're doing it from the ground up they could've designed something different.
Doesn't really matter when it should have had those things at launch instead of trying to cater to a group that wont make it sell millions of copies.
