I agree though. That's often what I witness with Korean celebs. They get popular then do a lot of CFs and random dramas that end up underperforming and then disappear.
Johnny's appeal right now is Weizhou. They are undeniably cute together and I do feel that if he left the franchise this soon his rising fame would halt and he'd quickly fall back into irrelevancy.
However as a fan I don't want him to do something he doesn't want to do. Staying attached to Weizhou will make the hardcore shippers more hardcore and gain more shippers. If they turn out anything like EXO shippers they will make his life a living hell. I don't want him to tire of being a celebrity so quickly because of the crazy fans

Tbh I think it's too late for that. Even if he leaves now the fangirls will follow and blow up his social media asking "where ZhouZhou is?" I mean the Luhan/Sehun couple of EXO hasn't existed
at all for years and still Sehun's instagram was spammed when Luhan came to South Korea.
I think it'd be years before the fan following dies down some, and if his future projects don't consistently eclipse Addicted, these fans wi'll always be the majority of his fanbase and therefore his stability. Not to mention fans he gains from other projects will see Addicted and possible become fans of it as well, so it'll keep growing. It's kind of sad.
