I highly doubt it. The way I see it, Wii U is having lacklustre sales because:
(i) The general public/consumer can't distinguish the Wii U as a new/ next generation console. I assume to the GP the Wii U is 'just the gamepad' . They could have literally named it ANYTHING else and it would have sold at least double of what it has.
(ii) Lack of AAA titles, basically the ones that kids ask their parents for.
