It takes more than just pissed off white people to become president, and that's all that Trump has. People are forgetting how important the minority vote is in the GE.

Negative ads worked on him. He underperformed on Super Tuesday bc of them and he's lost a ton of states that he could've won to Ted Cruz.
All Hillary needs to do is avoid gutter politics (thats what did Rubio in) and stick to trashing his business ventures
Trump University, his bankruptcies, his inheritance, his transcripts from UPenn (he's def not booksmart) etc

It might seem silly to some but potentially being the first female President will probably skew white women toward Hillary by the time of the actual election. Trump has a nasty sexist rhetoric that has been going on for decades and the Clinton smear campaign knows no bounds. I can't remember the website but I remember reading that Trump would need 70% of the white male vote to win to make up for his shortcomings in other areas.

Not sure, but I read somewhere Trump would need 65-69% of the white vote to win and that hasn't happen since the Reagan era.

Yes, my father voted for him in the primary. I was very disappointed in him because I've always thought of him as a smart person who doesn't feel the need to fit in with all of the sheep in rural Alabama. I remain hopeful that one day he can look back and realize he made a mistake.

nearly 60% of white men support Trump polls say. I actually think he has a great chance to win. The republicans have no choice but to come together, the republican voter turn out has been very high plus 25k dems switched in Mass. To vote Trump and 40k in Pennsylvania. And not to be mean but a lot of dems aren't even eligible to vote. It doesn't help either that states like Cali who have higher percentages of Hispanics will vote Dem either way

Demeanor means a lot, regardless of what is actually said. Make it seem like you know what you're talking about and a lot of people will believe you. I feel like this has served Trump well.

He would need way more than that. Romney got 62% in 2012 and lost to Obama in an electoral landslide. Trump would need 70%, which has never happened in modern political history.

I feel like Hillary's main struggle in debates is that she has such vast knowledge of so many topics and can sometimes come across like a schoolteacher teaching class. She can be long-winded. It's great to see somebody so informed on such a vast array of topics, but a lot of people these days just want cool slogans and catchphrases and stuff. It's tough running for the presidency with an increasingly uninformed electorate.
