no, it makes no sense to me. i don't believe there's a particular purpose purely for existing, but our actions and feelings matter whether they're serving a higher power or not. existentialism can be interesting to think about, but it isn't something you should apply to real life. i've always believed that there's no point in thinking seriously enough to get emotionally affected by it about /why/ we're here, because whether it's for a reason or not, we're here anyway and we're not going to be able to change that. i think people should just live their lives normally.
also, anyone who describes themselves as "believing in nothing, having no loyalties, and no purpose other than, perhaps, an impulse to destroy" is probably just trying to be edgy.
