The insinuation that TPAB didn't have 'bops'. It's more boppable than GKMC imo.

TPAB still had bops though, and the singles from GKmC still had messages about issues. I understand what you're saying though.

This ENTIRE part in 02 reminds me of his flow, and in general the entire song feels very Metro Boomin' for Kenny. I think that's probably why that track in particularly is here and not on TPAB or the next studio album (something tells me that sonically he'll remain in the funk lane and develop his themes, introducing some world music with the next studio album).
But it's not like the entire project is a Drake rip off, I think I worded that wrong. It's still distinctly Kendrick and thank God, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I get what you saying but I wouldnt say Drake is the inventor of that flow but I follow.
