The song is one of my faves but I feel the same way. Unless she performs it in a completely new way that doesn’t involve distracting lighting then it’s not necessary for me. I’d love it to be done with a Freakum Dress-level fierceness though.
Partition doesn't work live because she tries to recreate the video and its beyond annoying when she does that. The instrumental needs to be switched up, like how she kept doing with Freakum Dress.

Freakum Dress has had TOO long of a shelf life for a song that was not even a single. i am fine with that song never being done again....its only so many "Take me higher", guitar solo, and back bends we can take. plus its pre-recorded...so there's never any exciting vocal moments.
i'd rather have Deja Vu, Greenlight, Suga Mama, and Get Me Bodied back

Most of ST doesn't translate well live. I hope the only single from that era performed is DrIL. Rocket, Mine and even Jealous would be nice alternatives.
