Also Kesha hasn't actually filed any criminal charges against Dr. Luke.
I can see someone at Sony definitely considering buying Dr. Luke out of his contract, so their PR team can say "Dr. Luke is no longer an employee of Sony", but even if they did that, they'll still work with him on a freelance basis.
It's also more of a PR nightmare if/when Dr. Luke is cleared of all charges, because Sony will be known as the corporation that didn't stand by their employee when he was falsely accused.
