A police officer in Pennsylvania was able to thwart an armed robbery inside a taxi on Monday just by randomly pulling up behind the car.
The would-be robber, Victor Martinez-Herrera, 18, decided to pull a gun on his taxi driver, Ralph Valletta, after Valletta stopped his car in Wyomissing around 4.30 p.m.
However the thug didn't realize a police cruiser had just pulled up behind them.
Just as she tried to grab the money from a terrified Valletta, the officer materializes at the side of the car, and realizes what was going on.

Talk about timing: After Ralph Valletta pulled over his taxi in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, on Monday, a thug passenger decided it was a good time to rob him, not realizing a police car had actually pulled them over
The terrified driver is seen in dash cam footage handing over money to the robber, who demands more
As the thug is demanding more money, an officer can be seen walking straight up to the taxi
Quote:
The incident was caught on the dash dam inside Valletta's car.
He's yelling he wants money, and all I had were 11 dollars in one pocket for change,' Valletta told the Reading Eagle.
'I reached into one pocket and handed him the 11 dollars, and he's screaming, ''Give me the rest of the money. I know you got more money''.'
'I look into the mirror and I'm scared to death at this point,' Valletta said.
'I'm worried he's going to shoot me.'
The officer who came up to the car heard Valletta say 'please don't shoot me' as he got there.
