And here's a whole battery life paragraph from Anandtech, who are much more reliable. The S7 Edge scores better than the iphone EVERY single time. It's not AS efficient in proportion to its size, but it lasts longer, which is what matters at the end of the day !

I'll say again, official benchmarks > publications "experience"

Anandtech make their own tests, and as you can see, they exposed themselves on how both tests are so different from each other, how can they be reliable

in that article they said they find new ways to test phones, and depending on the test, the results change.
Actually professionally recording benchmarks is way more reliable than a publications not recorded "experience" with a phone. Which is why each phone running an automated test is much more reliable.
The one praise I'll give Samsung is faster charging. But I'd rather wait and have more battery than have it reach 100% quicker and die an hour earlier.
Also the iPhone 6 has better battery than the 6S, especially ruining on iOS 8. So winning.
Won't be upgrading to iOS 9 as its a battery hog compared to 8. Will wait for iOS 10'to see if that's any better or I'll go to Sailfish OS.
