Aside from his work with Katy Perry, his work is just not very lucrative anymore.
Yeah, it's probably more financially sound for Sony to pay Luke out of their contract then to keep paying him six-figures per song (that's his rate) on songs that will most likely flop by association. (Media reports a song was produced by Luke, resulting in backlash)

Using Kesha and her own fake story to promote this top95, 70k selling flop which also got a dance remix She must have forgotten working with R.Kelly. Imagine how FAD she is, she didn't even say a word about Kesha at the Oscars
