Lopez has physically acted in zero movies this century with a 50+ on Metacritic. They have more than zero, so maybe it'd work out better for her if she would build her cred with decent small indie movies instead of a bunch of paycheck roles.

Well, I loved JLO since money train.

JLO is a good actress but she's not great.
She is talented in that department to say she's good, though.

I can't think of a bad role even in gigli her role wasn't bad but the movie was.

She's just limited. I guess Enough had overacting a bit but still.

Honestly, I can think of a few roles SHE GOT in spite of her ethnicity.

Those romantic comedies like monster in law, the one with ralph fiennes and the one with matthew mc couh (I can't spell his damn last name) were roles that any blonde white actress with decent enough acting chops could have and would have been casted in.

Her stardom and celebrity helped her got those roles so I'm surprised she made these quotes only because her most known roles are roles that were designed for a blonde white woman (minus Selena and the ralph fiennes one where she was a made -- no shade).

I never thought of her as someone that could handle Oscar bait movies and that's fine.

She's the Jen of all trades even if not the master of them.

Her net worth and impact being 10x of that of many of those oscar winners is good of enough for her legacy

As a hyrbid britney and jlo stan I must say: there's no need to be hyper and I doubt anyone is mad about JLO "losing out" on roles or anything else. Britney and JLO like each other.

I spot a few questionable comments because I feel as though she's had enough roles that would normally go to a white blonde actress to make me wonder if this statement is more false than it is true.

well of course every minority suffer from that and with her starting a pop star career didn't help either, after Selena and particularly "Out of sight" she should have got more offers.
