as for me i have supported an ex before because coz he lost his job... but i wasnt 100% about it... we did break up down the road and i felt slightly exploited looking back....
Yeah. First proper boyfriend. He relocated and took a few months to find the right job, so I supported us until then.
I didn't feel exploited, as he is a hard-working mf.
If he was kicking back and chilling while I was at work and not looking for employment, I would've resented that, tho.

No, since I'm 17, duh. But if I were to end up in situation like that, I'd be more than happy to support him.
Hun, I'm 17 and I was the breadwinner in my relationship. Like, OBV not bills and rent and stuff but my ex bf was always broke so sometimes I paid for him when we went out to eat or went shopping and stuff
I'm getting paid more than my boyfriend so by the end of the month, when he usually ran out of money I am the one who buys food for the both of us. I don't feel exploited because I know that he does not take advantage of me, and I seriously don't mind paying for stuff. And besides, last year when I had to quit my job due to an illness, he did the same for me, so now I'm basically paying back the favor.

I did for like a month or so, my bf was out of a job for the time and he needed the help, but he never stopped looking for a job and he eventually got one, so I didn't feel exploited or anything. It was just a hard time for him.
