Of course Serena fans shout about racism the moment someone does anything other than exalt her to the levels of a god.
How can one not be suspicious that Serena was scared of a drug tester? A uniformed person with little more than paperwork and the necessary equipment -- did Serena mistake the pen for a pistol, the cup for a cleaver? Something doesn't add up.
Sharapova, meanwhile, has a defense that checks out, and more importantly, is truthful. It's unfortunate that she has become the scapegoat for the other players who knowingly and willingly take performance-enhancing and career-extending drugs.

Sharapova is cheating trash who lost to Serena 18 times in a row despite being doped up on illegal substances. Her tragic legacy. I see why you're mad.
She's going to get pushed out the top 10 soon and Venus will probably replace her.
I'm pretty sure Maria will get a 6 month ban and her QF points at the AO stripped but that's pretty much it. Realistically, she could face a maximum of 2 years but I highly doubt it. She definitely won't be playing the French Open and Wimbledon but I can see her coming back for the Olympics.
Obviously they're going to suspend the contract so they don't have to pay her while she's on the sidelines, unable to promote their product for the next several months or years. They'll probably pick back up when the suspension is over.
I read somewhere that she faces up to 4 years of suspension if the doping was intentional and 2 if it was unintentional. Hopefully ITF/WTA buys the diabetes story.
