I'm content with the relationship endings, they both make sense to be as Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron but I also would've accepted Harry/Luna. The rest don't really make sense to me particularly Harry/Hermione, I always saw them more as brother and sister, never romantically.

Draco and Hermione would have made a way better romantic story than....ugh Ron... in sense that Draco would be able to overcome is prejudice and actually show courage and stand up to his father. It's more like a star-crossed lovers thing.

It's just ooc dreams, Draco showed zero desire to change his views on blood status, I've always firmly believe that if Draco had met the version of Voldermort his father had, he would have gladly joined the ranks as a death eater and would have eventually reached a point where he would have been capable of killing.

I have to disagree. Hermione and Ron balanced each other out.

One couple that should have happened was Neville and Luna. They would have made ARTPOP together.

Thankfully, the movies rectified that mistake.

Harry/Hermione shippers remain the worst part of the fandom.


Nah, the Hannah+Neville and Luna+Scamander guy pairs that JK talked about were much more interesting. I've always hated the nature of fandoms to insist that every main character pair up with another main character even if they rarely interact.



The most interesting couples in the books were Tonks & Lupin, and Bill & Fleur. All of the main character relationships were just kind of there. I don't think they added much to the series overall.

It a children's book series; can we let it go and remember it fondly instead of having JK Rowling and assorted others drag it from the ground on a weekly basis in a bid for relevancy?

I'm sorry but the "balancing each other out" is a weak argument. Ron and Hermiond were not compatible. In the end it was a case of throwing numerace characters under a bus to prop up the disgusting weasley family. If she had to be with a Weasley it should have been Fred. Hermione needed someone who wasn't insecure and jealous, someone who brought the best out of her, Ron was not capable of doing so IMO. This was not a plausible long lasting relationship.

She should've ended up with Harry, matured Draco that change his views due to war... (I still think he had a thing for her) or Victor Krum... Ron was the WORST option ever.

... Somebody clearly doesn't know how much fan fiction there is about Harry and Snape.
