This type of immaturity is the reason that racism still exists today. If you'd all put your effort towards matters of race that actually matter rather than scrambling your brains to be the first person to shout "racism!!!" towards every comment made by someone in the public eye, maybe some real progress against racism could actually be made.

I agree with what you said, but I doubt anyone thinks that Bernie is a racist. At the end of the day, this is a presidential campaign and you have to choose your words wisely. I applaud him for his civil rights activism, and I think hes a good man. His wording and motive regarding this comment is just questionable to me. It wasn't a good comment by any means, but I understand want he was getting at.
