Hello ATRLers!

Today I remembered that most of the singles on Beyonce's "Dangerously In Love" album are such amazing songs and were such massive hits, because of how amazing they were. The album tracks are rich. The album sounds more fresh now than her recent work.

She has yet to top the album's quality and I wonder, was it just the perfect pick of producers/songwriters? Did she perhaps run out of creative energy afterwards because of her incredible imput on Destiny's Child albums? I would love another Beyoncé album as enjoyable to listen to (and dance to) as "Dangerously in Love". Is it possible? Should I be hopeful?

She topped it at least twice

You can't top perfection

Plus she was trying to prove that she could be a successful solo artist at the time.

She topped it with her I am era.

Many pop girls have failed to outdo their debut record on a commercial level. Beyoncé isn't unique in that regard.

In terms of quality, she outdid it with B'Day, 4 and ST

That awful album.

It's her worst non-IASF album.

She also had Mathew guiding her which helped her a lot

DIL is like her worst album though.

She topped it 3/4 times.

The album is too good to be topped

And Gaga is yet to top The Fame Monster.
Xtina is yet to top Stripped.
Madonna is yet to top Hard Candy.
Gwen is yet to top L.A.M.B.
Janet is yet to top janet.

And so forth.

Everyone has their magnum opus. They don't have to top it. I'm sure all these artists and Beyoncé do strive to. But it is what it is. Appreciate the greatness.
