Basically what the PSVita/PS4 tried to be

The Vita is criminally underrated. It should have slayed more

I love streaming my PS4 games to it to play them as handhelds

It's only problem is the lack of L2 and R2 buttons. But I'm sure the NX won't have that problem hopefully

Having a handheld that's not only up to date but having pretty much console specs would be such a slay

Edit: But then again even tho Geno has a good track record with leaks it's Nintendo and you just never knwo

In spite of the direction of SPM and Sticker Star I'd always maintained some glimmer of hope that they'd reboot the series more in line with the original/TTYD. Now...

Nintendo chose Mario and Luigi to be their RPG game. You hoes will just have to deal with your new action adventure Paper Mario games

I do hate it myself when developers change core mechanics in series. I was just complaining in the Pokemon thread about the ****** Connection Orb in Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon and how it completely alters the way you recruit team members. They changed one of my favourite things about the series into some trashy gimmick.

I wanted to buy Super Mystery Dungeon since I loved the first one. Is it really that bad?

I personally hated it. But I think it got a good reception from a lot of other people?

The characters are super annoying and juvenile, and I can't stress this enough. I know the previous games weren't some masterpieces in terms of characters personalities but woo, this game is trash for this. The connection orb ****ed up recruiting Pokemon, my starter Fennekin was only level 15 but I had already recruited a Tyranitar and a Alakazam both in their 50's. The game is super linear, I liked how in previous games if a dungeon was too much for you then you could do missions in other dungeons to grind up your level but you can't do that in this game since once the game decides to start a story mission youre locked into that one dungeon until you complete it. And you can save yourself when you die in a dungeon so there really is no challenge, just makes the game feel super monotonous and dragged on

But as I said, I think a lot of people liked it for some reason?

I stanned really hard for Super Mystery Dungeon until I got to like chapter 14. The dungeons were basically just "use your items and then try to win against the boss". Some of the random encounters would wipe you out within like 2 turns idk.

Meh. Guess I'll skip it and buy one of the DS sequels.

I don't like how damage is calculated in this game either. Like, it may just be me but using a super effective move doesn't really do that much more damage than a normal hitting attack. So it just sort of takes away any strategy when it comes to using moves since they all seem to be doing roughly the same amount.

But maybe that's just me?

All the DS MD games are flawless. It's been ages since I played them but I remember being bored out of my mind because of this long ass cutscenes at the start of the game when it's introducing you to Wigglytuffs guild. But after that it really picks up and is great >>

I'm really enjoying Twilight Princess HD. Some things are still annoying about it (certain textures that would've been EASY to update look like garbage i.e. the first temple), but I'm having a lot of fun. I never finished the Wii version because first I got stuck for, and I'm not exaggerating, four years on the Lakebed Temple, and then after I eventually did beat that temple I just got bored. Now though it's a lot less taxing to play, especially when I don't have to ****ing waggle my wrist everytime I need to attack.

The Wii FE is a sequel to the GC one, but I don't think there's a lot of connection
