nnnn.
I'm 17 sis and when I was 15/16 I was a HARDCORE Bey fan. Promoting her in school and having the reputation of completely stanning her hard, spending all my money on her merchandise, starting fights with wasps on Twitter and listening to her all day everyday

now... as you grow up you just kinda realise you need to prioritise yourself and you start to have problems and obstacles in life that overshadow supporting someone who sees you as a bag of cash. Honestly, now, I respect and adore Beyoncé. She really is an intelligent woman and I will always love her. Her music is amazing, she's a strong woman. I'm just not stan obsessed as I used to be and its honestly better this way.
I'm just not really obsessed with celebrities and Hollywood anymore. Only on ATRL I discuss these things, occasionally with my sister (she adores Nicki Minaj) but that's where it ends. I used to be craaaaazy obsessed and I'm not really embarrassed, same way people are obsessed with sports, Pokemon and games

I still love pop culture and this forum don't get me wrong. But there's no way to stop stanning overnight since it must be severe as you're stressing but just realise there's more to life than a pop girl.
Also, when I was 15/16, I didn't have much going on in my life. Just secondary school and stanning on Twitter when I get home. Now, I have boy/relationship problems, I'm working part time, education/university talk (hopefully going in September), exams, I'm turning 18 in two months and as you get older, you appreciate your family more and more. I'm just trying to find myself. So, as someone said, getting a job and stuff (like growing up) actually helps.
