My dad does, and it is the most annoying and most infuriating reason why I can't seem to give him respect. He's so entitled and so controlling, and thinks that my privacy doesn't matter.
I love him as my father, but he needs to learn a lesson or two.

It's a federal offense to open up someone else's mail, and he should know that.

Yeah, she does it all the time when she visits because I let mail gather up without checking it. My grandma, too. She opens mail I get back at home as well. I don't mind it tho; I'm sure she'd stop if I cared and told her to stop. Perhaps you should talk to your parents. They may respect your privacy or you may just have to suck it up until you move out.
