I just don't understand the obsession towards Adele in here, I'll be honest.

Disclaimer: This post isn't directed at any one person. I didn't bring Adele up first. I haven't defended Adele. I've just noted the obsession with Adele in here. It's not off topic because the members above made it on topic. If you don't like me saying this, don't bring her up. I'd say the same if Bey was brought up in the Adele base. You can't seriously expect me, an Adele fan, not to say something with regards to the negative comments about her in here. Whilst it is the Beyoncé base, Adele was brought up. That has nothing to do with me, it has everything to do with with a cultural obsession in here that makes many look pressed as hell. Presenting opinion as fact is not okay.

My comment wasn't negative towards Adele at all. It is more towards other people who're so sure she's going to win and it just sucks the excitement out of the Grammys knowing she's going to probably win. Prince, Janet and Madonna are amongst the most groundbreaking artists of all time and they don't have an AOTY. Yet they gave it twice to some basic bitch who cannot sing to save her life. Bey doesn't need that validation

There is no Adele obsession in here. You simply notice the rare times she is mentioned because you stan her.

I'd say she hasn't been talked about in months and any time she is it's in direct relation to Bey.

Beyonce lost her chance of winning AOTY right there. Middle-aged white Grammy committee have crossed her already off their list. The sooner you get over it, the better.

Sad but true. I actually agree that the Grammys don't reward artists who take risks enough! I understand that Adele is very safe compared to Beyonce, and that's a huge part of the reason that she has a higher chance of winning album of the year over Bey. Listen, if it was 25 vs. BEYONCE, Beyonce should win in my opinion. It's much more groundbreaking than anything on 25, that's just facts.

I do have a problem with people acting like 25 is a really bad album. It's a brilliantly written album. If B6 is a better album, I'll happily say that. I love them both equally and that's the truth.

I'll be happy with whoever wins. We are assuming that both are going to be nominated for AOTY. A little presumptuous but I guess it's because I believe in them both so much!

I genuinely thought that she had a shot with ST. I genuinely thought that they would try to think outside of the box for once and that they wouldn't reward the safest ****. But as soon as Pharrell defeated her I understood that she was never gonna win this anyway. Sam Smith and his album full of generic, radio filler songs was probably in the runner up position. I kinda want her to win at some point (because none of her peers is more deserving atm) but she won't. She ain't safe, she ain't basic and she's polarizing. And that's what I love the most with her. Bey is coming hard with B6 and the amount of Grammys that she will win shouldn't matter
