2010’s interactive thriller Heavy Rain is now available on Playstation 4 along with Beyond: Two Souls.
A thread to talk about one of the best games of all time getting a flawless remaster. What are some of your favourite scenes? What scenes could you do without?
TBH, I could do without the entire Norman Jayden character. I live for Madison, Ethan and Scott. Norman always felt very filler. Madison's club scene, the flashback to finding out the killer, the entire finale in the warehouse is flawless.
Heavy Rain is basically the modern pioneer of choice based gaming. It seemed so incredibly fresh at the time of release and was obviously very haunting. I think some of the narrative falls apart on rewatch (like the supernatural blackouts that were introduced early on and then dropped) and a couple of plot holes. Choices do actually matter here and the plethora of endings is incredible.
Without this game, we probably would have never gotten masterpieces like Life is Strange, Telltale's The Walking Dead, Until Dawn. I will be buying this.
who else remembers when Madison was making the fake moaning noises while pretending to have sex with the guy in the upstairs room? I can't think about it without bursting into laughter.

That whole scene when she's in the toilet tarting herself up so she can go seduce that fat man.
I remember watching youtube vids cuz I wanted to play it so badly but I had a 360 and Alan Wake got me into these story driven games. This is perfect, I have another game to play on my ps4 now
