I think the money was good enough and she wasn't working much so she did S4 but even before that, she's always tried to distance herself from the franchise.

You should try getting the US import, has a good amount of features like a commentary with Emma, Wes and Neve and there's a ton of deleted scenes on it.

I don't blame her. People always talk about how great the Scream movies are, but they're not. Kevin Williamson is a terrible writer. And I'm sure being in three of those movies along with The Craft probably ended up getting her typecast. No wonder she took a break from Hollywood.

Scream is better than most horror movies today. Drew Berrymore's scene alone is better than 89% of the crapfest horror movies we have now
