Does anyone know why Spotify's daily charts and weekly charts don't match up? For example, if you add Work From Home's 7 play counts from its daily US updates during the past week, you get about 3.7 million plays for the week. But then on the weekly chart, it's listed as having 4 million plays for the week. WFH was in the Top 200 during all 7 days, so why is there a discrepancy? And which one is correct?

This happened with a JB song, didn't it? Either Sorry or LY. And all the other weekly totals were correct except for it.
Time for some in-thread hunting.

Maybe it's some sort of glitch that happens with debuts? I wish I knew which one was accurate, though - I know 300K streams isn't much in the grand scheme of things, but since #10-#15 on the Hot 100 are expected to be pretty close this week, it could make a bit of a difference

The weekly chart is correct.
I'm guessing for the first 2 or 3 days of a new song they don't quite get all the views, but then add them later for the weekly chart.

A lot of Spotify playlists, including major ones like Today's Top Hits, seem to be updated every Friday. Just an observation.

Wow, just looked it up and it peaked at #18 on Mainstream Top 40 and #22 on Hot 100 Airplay. It's very fascinating & impressive for a song with that low of a peak to be this high on YT 22 years past it (assuming that the views are legit and not fishy like the Los Temerarios ones).
EDIT: Just realized that those numbers are probably WW and it has #1 peaks all over Europe. Makes more sense now.

No, i definitely know the song. But i still think #7 is really high. I am just wondering if it was promoted somehow recently or do people just really like it.

Okay one week after the AI performance, here are the PBP Spotify figures, WW since I can't break down unranked songs.
Album: 3,545,788 (+721,306)
Radio: 671,980 (+227,726, still probably its best week)
Idol (only two days, wish this was uploaded sooner): 73,326 (+73,326)
Total streams for the week: +1,022,358.
This would be better if the AI version was posted sooner. Still I know this was probably PBP's best Spotify week for the first two versions.
Billboard doesn't finalize its streaming and sales numbers until Monday, so hopefully by then they can incorporate the AI video streams into PBP's total.

Yes I've been absent for a few days. I'm sorry because one of the hardest workers on here tried to get in touch with me and I didn't know it. I feel bad about it. Here are the updated totals for The Sound Of Silence WW for the week ending 03 March:
YouTube Main: 18,787,831 (+1,920,776, 193k more than last week)
YT Live: 195,321 (around +115K, 30k more than last week) (I need to correct this on the YT page since I had the wrong weekly total for last week)
Spotify: 14,096,755 (+1,400,333, 76k more than last week) [Vengeful One+The Light= +1,217,000]
I'm estimating non-Spotify ODS at 30%, based on BB 200 ODS streaming numbers for Immortalized, so about +420,000 due to the other album tracks streams and just over 2M US ODS streams for the album last week. So using 30% last week at 381k, that's 39k more than last week's gains).
TSOS probably had 30k views from non-official sources. I don't know if they count or not, but that's up from about 25k last week.
Rounding to the nearest thousand, I get around 3.886 million WW streams this past week for TSOS, which is around +345k compared to last week.

No, one month. It's the second biggest old song after November Rain.
