Black people are a novelty in Asia for the most part. Not even restricted to rural areas, I've seen videos of African-British vloggers who've gone to South Korea for example to teach and they've found they get a bit of attention from locals because of their ethnicity.

I'm not surprised. Imagine how it would be if you've never seen someone of a certain race before in person. Like I've seen every race since I live in a diverse area but for example if i ever saw a green person I would stare too. I remember a video of a white guy going to a country in Africa and the little black kids were touching all over him and they all had smiles on their faces
