Bernie Sanders didn’t lose the black vote on Super Tuesday—he lost it a long time ago.
Last summer, one of the most telling and memorable moments of the still-nascent Democratic presidential race took shape when two protesters affiliated with the "Black Lives Matter" movement interrupted the Vermont senator at a Social Security rally in Seattle, demanding his microphone and overtaking him at the podium.
Despite the chorus of boos from a disappointed crowd, organizers failed to regain control of the event, prompting Sanders to cancel the speech and leave the premises. The disruption only lasted four and a half minutes, but that’s all it took for Sanders—an active participant in the 1960s civil rights movement and a proponent of reforming the country’s racially biased criminal justice system—to become "just another out-of-touch old white dude" in the eyes of many African Americans.
Before, I was convinced that Castro was Hillary's best VP pick. Young, not in bed with the Washington elite (and thus could be seen as an outsider), moderate and hispanic.
But, I'm becoming increasingly convinced that she needs a VP that will give her a push in a swing state. Sherrod Brown of Ohio, or Kaine of Virginia, or someone from Florida should be up on the list.

Hispanic but awful Spanish is not a good look on anyone running. Univision will be perched to interview him and he'll make juvenile mistakes that will have the Latinos laughing. Unless he books a holiday to immerse himself in the language in Mexico pronto/hits Rosetta Stone to work out the wrinkles in his speaking skills, he's a lost cause for the Spanish press

Castro could maybe help Hillary take Texas. Obama had 45% versus Romney's 55% and Castro was the former San Antonio mayer and tons of people love him here.
Maybe I'm being too hard on the good sis Julian and ha Spanish has improved. I've only seen some videos from a while back. He said recently he was going to work on it non-stop. Let me investigate and remain optimistic.
Meh. Not trying to be ageist but y'all need to take into account about his age. If Hillary is looking forward to 8 years, she would probably want a younger, fresher face to take her place as the 46th president or if something happened to her health. Bernie is way older than her, and I don't see that being the right move.

Right?!? The Democratic base is disengaged as is.
Two old whites on the same ticket= a disaster.
They need someone who can push minority turnout (either black or Hispanic) not a mumbling socialist/commie
