One Million Moms, an organization that abhors anything and everything they consider to be “vulgar” in the media, is still trying to get “Lucifer” pulled from FOX’s programming schedule.
The online organization for moms takes a hard stance against media — TV shows in particular — that do not align with the core values they are trying to teach their children. Everything from excessive alcohol consumption to homosexuality to blasphemy are considered inappropriate in their book, and the organization has campaigned to contact sponsors and advertisers for several shows to get funding pulled.
“Lucifer” is one of the shows that makes the top of their list. “The new program ‘Lucifer’ glorifies Satan as a caring, likable person in human flesh,” their campaign says. They also take issue with the way he happens to be “irresistible to women.”
The campaign has targeted advertisers such as Kay Jewelers, Energizer, Olive Garden and Academy Sports & Outdoors, urging supporters to tell these companies that they have “No more sympathy for the devil.”
“The message of the show is clear,” One Million Moms says. “Lucifer is just misunderstood. He doesn’t want to be a bad guy, it’s God who is forcing him to play that role.”
i actually like the show , but i guess it will be cancelled after this season anyway , i don't understand why fox or other big channel like that always try to do supernatural shows , considering that almost everytime they get cancelled !that kind of stuff are for the cw or cable tv....
